Example based on current pricing structure (subject to change): A single pallet is stored for 3 weeks. It is then split into 4 equal deliveries weighing no more than 10Kg each. Each one is delivered to a city within the UK, the following day. Cost? Pallet In = £2.50, 3 weeks storage = £15, picking & packing parcel = (4 x £2) £8, next day delivery = (4 x £9.99) £39.96. Total cost for storage, handling and delivery = £65.46
Compare that to rent, wages, fork truck rental, admin then ask and how many parcels do you have to send before you break even???
